FILE TO STYLE FRIDAY // GALLERY WALLS's Friday already.  TGIF!!  This week has had it's ups and downs.  One half of File to Style was in Florida soaking in the sun, while the other half was shoveling show during a major winter storm.  Let's see...who had it better?!?

While stuck inside I spent more time than I should admit browsing Pinterest for office inspiration.  I seemed to stumble on a common walls.  In my home office what started as a few pictures above my desk has now turned into a full blown gallery wall.  For me, having all the pictures above my desk serves not only as inspiration but also motivation to work hard.  Not only do I work full time, I'm also married and a mom to 3 young kids. I work from home 3 days a week and having all the pictures front and center reminds me why I work so hard.

Here's a picture of my gallery wall.

Here are some of my other favorites I found on Pinterest. Hope you enjoy some major office inspiration.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to visit our Instagram page for more fun pictures where we take File to Style.

Tomorrow I'm escaping the cold weather and heading down to Florida for the next few days! To say I'm excited would be an understatement... the next few days are going to be packed with fun, family, friends, food... oh and the best part, no work and school! For today's post I thought it would be fun to share what I keep with me on my carry-on since I know there's going to be a lot of traveling coming up for spring I'm a nosy person and these are some of my personal favorite posts to read!

Magazines/ books: I love flipping through magazines and reading books, but with my crazy schedule lately I haven't had time to do either! I'm taking full advantage of the couple hours on the plane to squeeze in a bit of reading. I really want to read The Choice since the movie just came out! Nicholas Sparks books are always my favorite!
Earbuds: I'm obsessed with these rose gold earbuds! They're so cute and unique! I always have to have earbuds with me no matter where I am because I'm always listening to music. I would not want to be stuck on a plane ride without these... how am I going to survive without jamming out to my fav songs??

Erin Condren Planner: After working 30 hours over the Valentine's Day weekend, I decided to treat myself to a new planner that I've had my eye on for a while! Even though I'm on "vacation" I still have classes going on during the few days I'm going to be away, so bringing my planner is necessary to make sure I don't fall behind.
InkJoy pens: Of course I couldn't have my planner without my favorite pens! These are great because they write so smooth, never bleed through the pages and come in a bunch of colors!
Textbooks and homework: Just in case I feel the need to get some homework out of the way on the plane.

Makeup bag: I like to bring my whole makeup bag with me on my carry-on just so I can keep track of everything and don't have to worry about it getting lost. This way I can also touch up my makeup if I feel the need to. Some of my favorite products are my Benefit roller lash mascaraPhysician's Formula liquid eyeliner and of course a hydrating lip balm to protect my lips from the dry air!
"Moisturizers": With the medication I'm using on my skin, I can't use a traditional moisturizer anymore. However, the air here is super dry and the air on planes tends do be dry as well, so to get around my anti-moisturizer regimen I use my Mario Badescu rose water spray to give my skin a little extra hydration as well as my Bare Minerals complexion rescue to even out my complexion as well as protect it from the sun since this product has an SPF 30.
Hand cream: I never go anywhere without a hand cream, and this one smells so good! My hands have been so dry, this is a must especially when traveling.

Sunglasses: Of course I need to bring sunglasses since I'm going to the sunshine state! I always have these with me too- you never know when you're going to need them!
Wallet: This seems like a no-brainer, but obviously I need this to hold my boarding passes, ID, starbucks card (duh) and a little vacation money!
Snacks: Luna bars are my favorite, I always have one in my bag! These are great for when you're in between meals but need something to hold you over.

Thanks so much for reading! Let us know what you keep in your carry-on in the comments below!

FILE TO STYLE FRIDAY // FEBRUARY 19 I right?! This has been one of the longest weeks I've had in a while. Between working 30 hours over the Valentine's weekend alone, 4 days of early classes and of course all the homework that comes with them (college student probs)... its safe to say I'm ready for an XL coffee and a break! Luckily I have a short work week, a few fun weekend plans and a trip to FLORIDA coming up in the next few days! Yay! Anyway, here are a few links I've been loving from this past week...

Thanks so much for stopping by! As I said I'll be down in Florida for the next couple of days so be sure to follow us on Instagram for fun pics of my trip! What were your favorites from this week?

Since both of us have had to wear glasses since we were young, we know just how important it is to have frames that look great on but are also going to be good quality and last for the next couple years. With that being said, we've been long time fans of Warby Parker because they always have the most stylish frames as well as great quality and customer service! When we saw their new spring 2016 collection, we knew we'd love it! We picked out 5 of our favorites that we knew you'd love just as much as we do!

The Kensett frames in whisky tortoise were one of our favorites since they were the most neutral and could be worn every day! These would be great for those 9 a.m. lectures when you want to look a little more put together but still comfy and cool.

We loved the  Finch frames in Bellini because of the unique color! We love a good pink, and we especially love incorporating it into fun accessories! These would be such fun frames to wear to your next planning session at your favorite coffee shop!

The Oliver frames in maraschino were another favorite because of the bright red! These would be so fun to wear as your everyday frames since the frame is such a classic shape but the bright red gives them a unique pop of color!

Last but not least, we loved the Dorset frames in coastal blue fade! Blue is another one of our favorite colors, and these glasses didn't disappoint! Since they are more muted and ombre, they look a little more neutral and wearable for everyday!

Thanks so much for stopping by! We hope you love Warby Parker just as much as we do! A big thanks to Warby Parker for working with us on this post, we had so much fun putting it together!
