Similar tunic (this one is on sale for less than $20!) // J.Crew jeans // This year's version of my Tory Burch tote (love the pattern on this one!) Jack Rogers sandals

Today we're back with another student success post! With finals creeping up on everybody I thought this would be the perfect time to share a few of my tips for staying motivated and productive while studying!

1. Study with a friend...

Study with a friend! I've found its easier and a little more fun to have a study buddy! Its nice to have somebody to study with especially if there was something you learned that you weren't quite clear on. You can also make flashcards and take turns quizzing each other- flashcards are one of my personal favorite ways to study!

2. Get out of the house...

I don't know about anybody else but I cannot focus when I'm trying to study at home. There are so many distractions... T.V. shows, food, my dog... just to name a few. Getting out of your house and making the trip to your local starbucks or favorite coffee shop cuts out a lot of distractions and makes it easier to focus on the task at hand!

3. Treat yo'self...

I'm always looking for a good excuse to get myself a little treat and in my opinion finals week is the perfect excuse! Weather its a coffee, a manicure, or an hour to binge-watch your favorite show, you deserve to treat yourself after all your hard work. I already treated myself to a new face wash since all the stress (I'm talking to you, accounting) has made me break out so bad!

4. Stay organized...

In college, I can't stress enough how important it is to actually use your planner. I especially rely on my planner while studying and during finals week so I know exactly when projects are due, when I have a presentation and when my big tests are. Writing everything down really helps me to prioritize what is the most important to me.

5. Don't give up!

My final and most important tip is to not give up! I know sometimes it can all feel very overwhelming, especially when your semester is full of your most challenging classes, but just remember everything is going to work out and you can do it!

Thanks for stopping by! We'd love to know your tips and tricks that help get you through the stress of finals week.
